Marco Terruzzin is Chief Product Officer of Energy Vault, an IdeaLab (www.idealab.com) portfolio company focused on the development of long duration energy storage solutions.

Mr. Terruzzin is a product innovator and an internationally recognized expert in climate change mitigation strategies (200+ renewable energy and carbon emission reduction projects), with proven track record of growing businesses at the intersection of clean-tech (renewable energy + environmental markets) and digitization. Having launched two international companies, Mr. Terruzzin has also developed extensive experience in building teams and transforming innovative ideas into successful businesses.

He is a board member of the California Energy Storage Alliance, founding advisor of the Energy Blockchain Consortium and has held strategic positions at E.ON Climate & Renewables, Engie, GE, Evolution Markets and Roland Berger Management Consulting. Mr. Terruzzin holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business, a PhD in Energy Economics, and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Padua (Italy). He resides with his wife in California.
