Friends of CESA are non-member partner organizations that support CESA's mission.
The China Energy Storage Alliance is China's first and only non-profit, member-based energy storage association. With the goal of promoting healthy growth in renewable energy through the use of competitive and reliable energy storage systems, the CNESA works with the Chinese government to drive policies and spread awareness of the benefits that energy storage can provide to the grid. We also encourage communication and facilitate business between the government and the private sector.
The Global Energy Storage Alliance is an international non-profit organization promoting the use of all forms of energy storage to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy and promote a more efficient, reliable, affordable and secure global electric power system. The GESA mission includes providing support to governments and energy organizations through special research initiatives, advancing energy storage knowledge and sharing best practices, fostering collaboration and networking between key stakeholders, and establishing standards and protocols to advance energy storage interoperability worldwide
The Energy Storage Association (ESA) is the national trade association dedicated to energy storage, working toward a more resilient, efficient, sustainable and affordable electricity grid – as is uniquely enabled by energy storage. With more than 160 members, ESA represents a diverse group of companies, including independent power producers, electric utilities, energy service companies, financiers, insurers, law firms, installers, manufacturers, component suppliers and integrators involved in deploying energy storage systems around the globe. More information is available at: www.energystorage.org.
India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) was launched in 2012 to assess the market potential of Energy Storage Technologies in India, through an active dialogue and subsequent analysis among the various stakeholders to make the Indian industry and power sector aware of the tremendous need for Energy Storage & Microgrids in the very near future. IESA anticipates India to become a 15-20GW market for advanced energy storage technologies by 2020. See the IESA website for more information.
