The Safety Working Group provides CESA members the opportunity to convene and share information on safety-related updates (includes codes and standards, research, safety policy) that impact the energy storage industry. WG members are invited to propose discussion topics. Key areas include updates on safety codes and standards, progress updates on CESA safety initiatives, AB 546 implementation, CEC storage equipment list.
How this Working Group is making an impact:
Sharing best practice and resources on energy storage safety and lessons learned from safety incidents
Educate members on key certifications and standards (including UL 9540, UL9540A, NFPA 855)
