We are delighted to share a brief recap of the CESA Business Development Forum held on April 10th. The event was a big success, bringing together key energy storage industry leaders, policymakers, and professionals.
A special thanks to Assemblymember Cottie Petrie-Norris, Chair of the Assembly Utilities and Energy Committee, who delivered an enlightening talk on "Clean Energy Legislative Priorities in 2024." Her insights into upcoming legislative developments provided invaluable guidance to all attendees. We also greatly appreciated Senator Becker taking time to speak about legislation coming out of the Senate, including his efforts to expedite transmission planning and permitting.
Our program featured several other engaging speakers discussing project financing, insurance, distributed storage, and procurement plans. These speakers from the California Energy Commission, CAISO, and Sacramento Municipal Utility District, CCAs, and several other organizations provided informative content and thought-provoking discussions with the audience.
